Well, the BIG move is on Sunday. It's not really that big though... none the less it is a move! Just got the keys today and checked it out with Jamie. I'm pretty stoked now, before it was just yeah.... I guess I did buy a place, meh. Now I'm bouncing around and even rolled around on the new floors to get the homey feel, much to the surprise of Jamie who stood watching. :P

Anyways, for all you non-facebookers if you would like to help out and check out the new place drop me a line - it's this Sunday May 15th and were meeting around 9:30am.

This is becoming a once of month thing, but anyways I'm back from NYC! We left here late Thursday night and returned Sunday. NYC is faboulous! We had to go to classes in the morning, but the first say after the flying we went shopping like Macy's and all that, then the next night we went to ground zero and the fire house that got some rubble on it. We also went to the top of the Rockafella Tower and to see a show on Broadway... PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! It was amazing!

And this Saturday Jess, Jamie, and I are going to Las Vegas! So, in the meantime here's some pictures of the recent trip!

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=108194&l=cbbf9&id=612320404

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=108198&l=6bff7&id=612320404

I’ve been meaning to do this since I got the Internet back, but better late than never! :P So I moved!!! I now live on my own in my little burrow in Coquitlam. I would definitely like to thank those who helped me and continue to do so!

So, what’s it like being on my own? In a few words expensive, exciting, and hungry. :P I lived off of leftover pizza for the first week! >.< Thankfully, Jamie’s family likes feeding me and I hope they never stop, but now I have groceries, but cooking for uno is definitely tricky.

My place is rather small... perfect for me, but the lack of counter space drives me insane and my co-worker who was suppose to give me her extra cutlery drawer holder hasn’t still, so I will probably just buy one. In better news I get to do what I want when I want and not have to worry about a thing other than maybe blasting the eardrums of the upstairs peeps, but it would probably take an explosion. They also have a golden retriever so cute!

I’m also hoping to recruit the services of our little designer Stephanie to help me fix up this place, so it goes from hovel to home sweet home! I also have a cell phone… I know, I know I said I’d never get one, but what can you do. So, if you would like my number, I already have most of you added just drop me an e-mail!

I wish I had some mystical advice to give, or crazy stories, but so far it has been pretty tame around these parts. Except when I watch late night horror shows by myself – everything becomes fucking creepy!

Despite a few small minor details I had the best weekend ever! First off I got Saturday and Monday off, so I get a long weekend, which is rarer than people using deodorant on a skytrain.

On Friday I headed to Gina’s with the Jessica’s for Chinese and 80’s karaoke! I love 80’s music, but my voice – SREECH! The Jessica’s totally owned Gina and I. Then Jamie <3 picked me up and we got to hang out for a bit. He’s the best.

On Saturday, I got to sleep in ~does snoopy dance~ and go to an optical conference with my co-worker – they always have a lot of candy – got a bag full! And hang out later with Jamie again… it’s a going trend. I can’t remember if that’s when we played Paper Mario on the Wii, but that game is awful!! I’m totally looking in to buying a SNES.

Sunday I got to hang out with Stephanie and her bf Tyler and go rollarblading for like the 3rd time in my life! I never had been so scared! I also finally remembered to bring her Hanukkah gift and her belated birthday gift! It was sitting in my room forever! We went along the seawall and then Jamie took me out for pizza. It was that Me and Ed’s place I think I went there once, but long ago. It was pretty good we had this Godfather pizza and I tried to make a joke from the movie like it doesn’t come with decapitated horses?! However, he never seen any of the Godfather movie, I mean its been awhile for me for sure, but come on! I might have to rent them and have a marathon, so many spoofs he’s missing out on.

Today I’m looking into that SNES, doing laundry, and may try out rollarblading again with the odd pair Stephanie gave me yesterday. Wish me luck!

Bee My Valnetine?

And it has a bee on the front of it! -Ralph

Anyways, I have my Valentine's date tomorrow night - I'm doing it a day early because of work. Dinner and a movie at home, I really hate getting the toss when dining out during busy holidays. Kind of excited - I even decorated a bit... I'm a total geek and yes I know it.

In other news, for the big move on March 2nd I got movers now booked - hurrah! Still lots of work to do! I still need to pack more and get a cell phone, but what?! There's so many phones and plans etc. it boggles the MIND!!! I'm behind in the times for technology - like the dinosaur age. In fact dinosaurs probably had cells before I considered one!

Also, things have been awkward at home can't wait to move. My mom is kind of guilt tripping me and it’s not like I don't appreciate the things she does for me - I really do! But, on one hand she helps me out and got me a bunch of things when I leave home, which is great, but I never asked her to she’s not rich. Then when discussing furniture and things I wanted to buy my brothers dresser off her because mine is well crap she goes on to tell how much all my bedroom stuff cost her years ago… WTF?! Why would she one minute offer me things, give me things without asking me, and then tell me how much money she spent?! You don’t buy someone a gift and tell him or her how much it cost you! I asked her a year ago if I could take the stuff I've been using since middle school when I move out and she says sure now its that desk was $150 this the bed was $180 that I paid this much for those pots etc. It makes no sense!

Then she was discussing work with me if you don't know she freelances, which is fine, but she wants a full time job and thinks Alberta will solve that. I mean my brother moved there worked at Superstore living with my grandma until he specialized in a trade and moved out. What is she expecting jobs to fall out the sky for her - I told her she probably will be in the same line as Matt because no one hands out $20/hr jobs unless your in a niche market, or start low and work-up to a decent wage. Then she took complete offence saying she can do better and storms off - I want to best for her, but be realistic I think she deserves much better, but will some random employer think so? You got to start small and work your way up the ladder, but damn her pride! Yes, she’s been working since 15 or whatever, but who’s going to care?! And this just turned into one huge rant.

    <lj:music>Psycho - System of a Down</lj:music>

Usually I don’t write too much about my feelings, other than extreme anger, but we all know that’s what LJ was originally for, so here’s my problem. After I stopped being in a relationship and found out well, Cory is an ass, and moved on I’ve become a moving target. I won’t name names a few of you are on LJ, but it started off slow and now it’s becoming a little too much. I’m not upset it’s nice to be wanted, but what and how bothers me. Hell, I’m not even trying and can’t even apply eyeliner! (Seriously someone needs to help me with that makeover junk like on Clone High! :P)
Exhibit A: Nice, easy-going guy showed interest. Hell, even I show some interest. Were also really good friends, but I don’t want to ruin it. Pretty much the majority of my exes become “acquaintances,” instead of good wholesome friends as before.

Exhibit B: Very relaxed guy who I used to have a bit of a crush on, but felt like I was pulling teeth to show my interest magically reappears on the scene this time less shy. More of a friend’s friend scenario.

Exhibit C: Person I don’t know very well again more of a friend’s friend. Hasn’t displayed affection outright, but definitely all around nice average guy to go have a beer with and seems to want to hang out a lot more.

Exhibit D: The newest in the bunch. Suddenly develops feelings, but again a really good friend and I don’t want to ruin it.
So, there we have it. The two I know really well keep asking if I like the other two, that’s why I think Exhibit C is a contender because of their concern. I figure guys may have secret powers on detecting who’s after who. :P And I don’t even know if I like them I never actually put serious thought into it. I was just in a relationship on and off for SIX YEARS! I need a break I’m turning 21 on the 27th and need some fun, but not in a "whore myself out" way. So, now I have all these people and don’t know what to do. I don’t want to ruin friendships, or play rejection roulette.

I was chatting with someone I knew online for a while and he wanted to go have a cup of coffee with me. Then last night after he went to whistler it was later around 10pm he pops up on msn and asks if its too late to go and I had nothing planned typical of me, so went along for the ride.

We ended up at this (Japanese, or Asian anyways), coffee place on North Road where they have board games you can play. They even had Jenga! In the end I was out too late and all the skytrains were closed, so he ended up having to borrow his buddy’s car and drive me home.
It’s good to be back on the horse again whether it leads to anything, or not.

Glad to have it back and hopefully no one was trying to reach us...

Today is also my brothers birthday and he loves the gifts we sent out earlier this month! Also, my dog Rosie, which we given up to a new home when we moved is here is happy and well, though a little deaf, but she's pretty old now. My mom's friend found out for us since we didn't want to confuse our poor pooch by visiting all the time, we wanted her to accept her new family, and now she's spoiled rotten. :P

Also, finally tried the tea shoppe on St. John's and the hot chocolate is fantastic! Very cozy place inside and lot's of neat pottery and art, so try it out.

    <lj:music>Wireless - Imogen Heap</lj:music>

Man, I hope this isn't going to be one of those weeks. My co-worker, or boss tried to help me by moving my late contact lens pick up orders to the late shelf, which seems very logical, HOWEVER, they failed to check to see if they were paid in full first, which I do before I move them. If the patient pays for it and is late who gives a damn their paid for, if their not paid for I have to send the contact lenses back to the company in a certain time frame 1 month to 3 months and get credited for their cost of ordering.

So, here I am calling patients who paid for their things in full sounding like a jackass telling them I have to send back their stuff in a week (very late orders from months ago) if they don't come get it. It was awkward because I soon realised after a very perplexed response from one of our patients that my co-worker, or boss didn't check that out. Thanks guys for utter humiliation! D'oh!

PS The guy who called yesterday about the broken glasses he called up and described the problem. Their not purchased from us, so no info on them, their over 3 years old, rimless aka fragile, and he snapped the arm completely off and he wants to know what I can do. Duck tape I reply, ducktape. The chances they still have a part for this mystery frame I don't carry is slim!

<lj:music>You Spin Me Right Round - Dead or Alive</lj:music>

Man, I had a long weekend and a long night. First up I worked Saturday after not sleeping well from a huge headache and then went to Celebrities for Dani's B-day. All I can say is really, really, hawt gay men and go-go dancers! Damn. We danced all night, but 'gus won, bastard. :P Then we have our drunken and terrible Denny's breakfast that Craig CS drove us to, nicest guy in the world, gave all us gals rides home. I pass out sometime after getting home, and Sunday I was a space case because my sleeping hours were all backwards, so I was restless all night.

(My new expensive camera rocks! Iget video with sound! Go figure money made a difference. :P)

So, today I was absolutely wonky! And I also have dance class in 30minutes. Blah! I had to throw out this old wheel chair at work and man trying to toss that in a dumpster at my size... not cool. Then this guy calls 15 minutes before we close and I was still super busy about some reapir, so I tell him if he can make it in time I'll take a look. So I finish up with a patient and it's 6pm on the dot pretty much, no sign of him, so I waited 10minutes out of the goodness of my heart because he made it seem like he'd be there no show! Damnit! I hate no-shows and late patients! They don't have to courtesy to call and say they'll not be coming in they just leave you in the dark and then get upset you haven't called and reminded them they have an appointment at some later date when you did... twice!

So, hopefully if I get some sleep things will be calmer, but man I had fun, however, if I'm tired every little thing out of place drives me up the wall. :P
